Appears milky in solution and dries to a glossy, transparent coating.
This really does dry up to a nice hard coat even when mixed with the Candy2o and thinned with 4011. Love this product.
We've been using this for bike helmets. It took a few try's to get the finish perfect, but once you get the process down, the 4050 is glassy! We love not having to use toxic 2k clears for bike helmets. So far the durability on full face mountain bike helmets has been awesome. Every order has been great, the Maple team really kill it!
Sticks great, dries hard, works just as advertised! Dont expect it to level like a solvent clear but it takes a great polish after a few days so with a bit of elbow grease the difference is neglegable. My only thing to note is it seems to dry weird with the 4012 reducer, a bit gummier than with 4011 or 4013 having very long cure time, which sucks since it does the best job of leveling off the clear as it dries.
