AK Interactive Light & Dry Crackle Effects - 100ml (Acrylic)

Light and Dry Crackle Effects has been formulated to create dry, cracked floors on the undersurfaces of vehicles, dioramas and vignettes.

This product has been developed for the creation of scale crackle effects.

On an acrylic base, use a thin coat and let dry. You can modify the thickness of the layer or speed up the drying process with a hairdryer.

Non-toxic.

AK Light and Dry Crackle Effects

As advertised the product created a dry, cracked surface for a desert landscape diorama. Cracked pieces turned out smaller than expected but I have since read if you use thicker layers you have larger pieces. I used the product directly on styrofoam which I should have primed with a dark colour beforehand as my cracks were light and needed to be pin washed after. Pieces were also very delicate and came off easily until being coated with matt varnish. Overall effect was good and I look forward to using it in future projects.
