Vallejo Metal Color is a line of water-based metallic acrylic paints formulated for airbrush application but also excellent for brushwork. These paints are designed to deliver hyper-realistic metal effects on scale models, fantasy miniatures, gunpla, and diorama components.

Engineered with ultra-fine aluminum pigments, Vallejo Metal Colors provide smooth, reflective finishes and strong adhesion to plastic, resin, and metal surfaces.

Popular colors include: Aluminum, Duraluminum, Jet Exhaust, Burnt Iron, Copper, Chrome Metal Color Primer – gloss black base for high reflectivity

Use directly from the bottle with your airbrush, or thin slightly for more control. For best results, pair with Vallejo Gloss Black Primer or Surface Primer and finish with Vallejo Clear Varnish for added durability.

It is advisable to wait 12 hours after application before applying any paint masks. Finish with the Gloss Metal Varnish
