I transitioned to AK interactive paints recently for the convenience of brush/AB color matching and color selection. Much as I like these paints, they were driving me mad when shot through my Iwata. Way too finicky, constant bad clogs and drying on the needle.
This brush is the solution. It's more precise than my Iwata and very nearly as forgiving as my Badger. Clogs rarely and the clog clears easily.
On top of that it is sooo light to hold and the trigger pull is so light and easy, it makes my other brushes seem like some sort of iron age machines. Seems easier to clean too, the metal doesn't hold onto paint at all. And the removable cup allows you to get it really clean with less effort, making clogging less likely next session.
The only real weakness here (from a modelers perspective) is that the fine needle makes the coverage pretty small and makes it hard to use on heavier paints (eg undiluted primers). I'm glad of my long suffering Badger for those chores.
But overall I love this baby for fine work, shadows, streaking, camo and so on.
Very pleased with the purchase.
