Should have bought this years ago.
I’ve been trying airbrushing for a few years now and purchased low end brushes.
What a difference with this brush. More control, great flow and I can run my air lower.
Maple airbrush delivered my order very quickly and have no complaints about their service and site is easy to navigate.
I am reasonably new to airbrushing but have a lot of experience spraying paint. I was struggling with a cheap Chinese Amazon special and my work was becoming a chore. Reading the reviews before buying and what a difference. I stripped and cleaned the brush before using just in case but I found nothing wrong and all seals were where they should be. I think this would have been great right out the box. The needle wasn’t seated fully but I think that is just a shipping thing to prevent nozzle damage. Maple air brush is a small business and I will definitely be purchasing from them again. My wife wants a detail brush now! I was surprised to find a genuine iwata quick connect added to to the package!! Top notch service!
I bought this airbrush since I had too many problems with the cheap ones. With iwata you get what you pay for. The neo I since you won't break the bank the airbrush works well. I'm a newbie when it comes to airbrushing so I can't give a detailed review.
As someone returning to scale model building as a retirement hobby, I was wanting to venture into the world of airbrushing as an upgrade to using spray cans. I read and watched numerous reviews on various airbrush options (from very cheap to quite expensive) and settled on the Neo for Iwata as a nice "middle of the road" compromise. I am just starting out but so far so good, and I am pleased with the results I am achieving so far. The airbrush seems to be quite good quality, has a nice weight and feel to it, and is relatively easy to clean.
