Xtreme Polished Aluminum

I used matt alum followed by polished alum. This was my first time using these. The matt alum went down without a hitch. As per the AK how to use video, I masked about 5 hours later (they say it can be masked immediately) and sprayed the polioshed alum. The paint appeared to be going down very thin. After it dried I removed the Tamiya masking tape and the matt alum pulled up. In some areas the tape seemed to interact with the tape. (I knew I should of waited longer or clear coated it). The polished alum leveled out okay but seemed a little thin and patchy. It was more difficult to use than the matt alum. I have another project coming up soon and I will use it again. Primed with Mr. Surfacer 1500 black.
