Copious Earth is a pre-mixed basing material from our Krautcover Basecovers range, made for quick, quality miniature bases with rich, natural soil texture. Whether you’re basing a small warband or a full army, this hand-mixed basing blend creates realistic ground in minutes perfect for earthy battlefields, forest paths, countryside scenes, and classic “all-purpose” terrain.

It’s easy to use: apply glue to your base, sprinkle the mix on top (or press the base directly into the container), and you’ll instantly get a varied textured surface ready for painting. Each Basecovers mix is hand-mixed from finely balanced components and packaged in a convenient resealable container for clean, mess-free basing.

Copious Earth is an ideal foundation mix for adding extra vegetation and detail. Once the base layer is down, you can easily build it up with tufts, grass, foliage, leaves, turfs, or additional scatters for even more realism. It’s also not limited to miniatures — it works beautifully for dioramas, terrain boards, miniature landscaping, dollhouse landscaping, and train scenery. One mix, endless possibilities.
