I've been using a commercial style 3 gallon air tank/compressor with a regulator and moisture trap for at least 10 years. I always felt that the air was not truly being regulated as much as I would like. Finally this compressor decided to quit so I was now looking for a replacement. I've heard and read about compressors specifically made for the hobby I do. I've been to Maple Airbrush Supplies a few times prior to this and felt they are the first I should try. I had also researched other suppliers even though some cheaper I was not confident in purchasing without talking to someone. The person who served me was very knowledgeable and understood exactly what I needed which helped in deciding what to purchase. I have only used this compressor a few short times and am very impressed so far. Very quit and precise on the air supply, easy to operate and very happy with the service I received.
