Steve Gibson is a Fine Art Painter, well-versed in traditional oil painting applications and color theory. In concert with Createx Colors Steve created the Air Oil & Lead Grisaille Grey Airbrush Paint. These paints are a modern approach to Airbrushing, using the traditional Old Masters Grisaille Techniques.

The Illustration Grey Scale gives you a new twist on a methodology used by traditional Oil Painters. Using Neutral Greys to under-paint, creating values highlights and shading.

If your looking for the secret of painting in Black & White you found it! Many also use this technique for creating amazing depth to a Candy Coloured Painting.

You can build color using a mixtures of the CMYK hues, Candy or Transparent Paint for finished values and color.

Designed for refined atomization through any airbrush tip-size, large or small, operated at mid to lower psi settings. Colors flow when faded from full saturation to tint strength without a "grainy" or stipulated over-spray.

Colors have a delayed curing cycle during which colors erase easily and after 48 hours cure to a hard coating. 

When mixed with 4030 Balancing Clear or 4050 UVLS. Illustration Colors do not soft erase.
